We found this a great restful break and a great start to our holiday. I’ve bases it all 5 stay on the price of the stay £140 for a family of 5. Fantastic bed and a great nights sleep. Restaurant was superb, well designed, attentive staff and very reasonably priced. 2 small complaints were: a very cracked window in the bedroom and the shower/bath arrangement which wasn’t suitable for someone who’s 6’2”. Overall I would highly recommend it."

"The accommodations in the old mill are fabulous! Updated rooms with antique furnishings. Heat and AirCon. Lovely sound of the weir. I requested a "river view room if possible" and got the best room on the premises! The grounds are well tended & include riverside dining, lawns, sun deck, hot tub, and a tiny sauna with a river view. Excellent for a getaway holiday. Having a car or a bicycle would increase the options for activities and dining. Tho the hotel chef is top notch and the food excellent. Breakfast was also good with many choices."
