"The peace, and quiet of the room, Was a large room, everything we needed. The staff were very nice, and friendly at check in. The complimentary biscuits, and water bottles was a nice touch to the room. Didn’t eat there, but the smells coming from the kitchen was delightful when was leaving the building, Great location, and price. Overall this place is excellent, will Definitely be coming back when visiting Shrewsbury again 👍"

"The hotel is dated and needs an uplift. It’s a shame with it having so much character but I expect if it was it would have cost us more to stay there. Towels were nice and white. It’s a great location even though we were only staying one night as we’d driven from Devon en-route to north Wales. The only problem that could arise is the parking (£5 a day) is very limited! We arrived around 3pm to find 2 spaces which were quickly filled. We would stay there again"

The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was perfect for what we needed as a family, and everything felt relaxed and easy, which is exactly what you want when travelling with children! We all slept well and found the hotel to be a great base for our trip. Really good value for money, family-friendly and somewhere I’d happily stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
