"The hotel was a convenient stop over location for our trip. Usual budget hotel. Check in was easy. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very bland. The one reason I won't return is the electric car charging facilites for the hotel (operated by Monta Charge). The price was £0.90 per kWh. That is more than any motorway charge point and much more than other Monta hotel charging points I have used before. I would have charged before arriving had I known about this Monta rip off."

"Told on arrival no food as they said working on kitchen, dining room not open or any room service. Hotel isn't that close to other places either. Not even snacks or sandwiches or hot drinks other than those in the room. They could have provided a temporary provision. Instead told get a takeaway delivered and even delivery drivers took a long time given location. This hotel should not be trading as a 3 star hotel without any catering or any food. Room was cold also as heating on a timer so had to get hotel to provide a fan heater. Only one pillow on beds too low. All together a poor stay, shame as hotel so. Much potential and character. "

"What an absolutely wonderful find. We usually travel Glasgow to Pembrokeshire in a oner, 8.5+ hrs but getting too old now so the lions quay was a fantastic find. Lovely, tranquil canal walks, fab spa facilities and a comfortable pub and restaurant with exceptionally patient and polite staff. Certainly stay again."
