Positioned in the village of Llanbedr-Dyffryn-Clwyd just a few miles from the historic market town of Ruthin, voted the Sunday Times ’Best Town in Wales’ in April 2023. Wisteria Lodge at The Shipon is a stylish and well-presented annexe offering a quality option for couples looking to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
Enter a neatly designed kitchenette equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal for two. Head through into the main room where you will find a large kingsized bed topped with a luxury mattress and fit with Egyptian cotton bedding for an exquisite night’s sleep. Fitted wardrobes offering plenty of storage, comfortable chairs, a Smart TV, and a small table suitable for dining complete this lovely room. The fabulous spa-like en-suite bathroom complete with a rainfall shower is perfect for a quick freshen up in the morning. The outdoor area offers a covered carpeted pergola leading to the sunny aspect garden. From here you can sit and admire the ever-changing views over to the Clwydian range in the day or gaze at the skies while sitting around the firepit in the evening.
If you can tear yourself away from this lovely bolthole, enjoy beautiful walks from the door along quiet country lanes, and across the rolling Welsh hills or if you are feeling energetic head over to Moel Famau, the highest hill in the range. Enjoy days out to Llangollen, world famous for its steam railways and canal walks, go sailing on the lake at Brenig, cycling at Llandegla or relax and enjoy a spot of fishing. Do as much or as little as you like from this fabulous rural retreat. Beach 18 miles. Pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.
