"Enjoyable stay, good room, and nice food"

"For the price of this hotel, it was excellent. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant did not do evening meals, but the reception staff directed us to a very good Italian which we enjoyed. Cooked breakfast was cooked to order, so lovely fresh and hot. Reception and bar staff were very friendly."

"Stayed here for 4 nights in June 26. Staff, particularly Emma were especially helpful, proactive and really great for a chat. We ate here a few nights after Monday, as no food service on Mondays. Despite the June heat wave, the room wasn't too bad. No cooling fan (not that we have that many heatwaves), but a damp sheet quickly did the trick. I sleep with earplugs, and there is a road outside, although it's very quiet, you can still hear cars going past. This adds to the village atmosphere IMO. I appreciated the room had a desk, so I could catch up on work in evenings when needed. There's also a village shop in the car park, which is well stocked and quite large for a small shop (fridges, alcohol, sweets, basics, treats. Plenty!). Opening times are: 09:00 - 18:30, Mon - Fri 09:00 - 16:00, Sat 09:00 - 12:00, Sun I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and getting to know the village, which is well connected to local roads and was very close to where I was working."

"Very nice, ample and light room with a double bed, a proper desk, kitchenette and table. Much nicer and spacious than a hotel room. Bed was not the most comfortable but ok for a couple of nights. 10 minutes walking away from Rugby's pedestrian area. Can be a bit noisy from the road, but not worse than other hotels I've stayed in Rugby. Only issue was that email with access instructions went to Spam as it didn't come from hotels.com, but once I called I got the access codes in a couple of minutes. I would recommend."
