"Amazing front desk service, super welcoming. Arguably the most convenient location if attending a multiday event at the NEC due ti be right by the rail. Only issue I had is the hallway to the rooms was creepy. Have painted walls, felt very under construction with little light. Could have just been my floor tho."

"We were given an upgrade to larger room which was ok..but lots of stairs , as third floor and both over 60 lol but appreciated the extra space . Hotel was in good place for visting other places. The meal we had in the restaurant was yummy , i had the fish and chips and hubby had the burger. But breakfast not so good, bacon was hard as was streaky and it was a mix for scrambled egg which was not very nice , tin mushrooms and tomatoes needed cooking longer and sausage and hash brown was ok and beans .Fruit salad was basic was melon and apple maybe 5 grapes sliced in half in it . After restauant being so good was shocked with breakfast feeling so cheap. You also had bread for toast and spreads and yogs and cereal and usuall drinks."

"Lovely Village Inn, spotlessly clean. Helpful friendly staff. The music from the did in the bar was a bit too loud, it’s a small bar and the music was bouncing. We couldn’t hear each other talking, but we were only staying one night. All in all, it’s a lovely venue"

"The only downside to the stay is the rooms are very hot, but they do supply you with a fan. Steph (reception) and the lady that looked after us at breakfast - chef’s kiss! Brilliant customer service."
