"Very central in Oxford. Area not great. Hotel apartments are clean and tidy but very small, well appointed. Staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant on street below hotel does great breakfast and 10% discount if staying in hotel. Easy access to hotel, but reception on 1st floor. Ok for 1 or 2 nights."

"Great staff and they called when room was ready and stored our luggage for us. It was a visit for my daughter's 21st birthday and the location was brilliant as she is at the uni there. Lovely, clean and quirky room and very quiet too. Breakfast was also really nice and again, great staff. "

"Beautiful Location, relaxed atmosphere. Good sized room, if a little overpriced. Hotel was clean, toilets well serviced. Walls a little thin (or I had noisy neighbours :-) ) Reception Staff super helpful and friendly. Bar Staff and Bar Waitress faultless in helpfulness - Bar food (WH LOADED BURGER) arrived quickly and piping hot. Astons Breakfast (Sunday Morning) was fabulous, good selection. Hostess, waiters and waitresses - great job. Hotel Pool, Sauna and Steam, clean and perfect - changing rooms were OK. Jacuzzi was full (first come, first served) so did not use. Didn't use Day Spa or any treatments."

"Poor value. No towels in my room; had to ask the night-porter to find some. 10am on Sunday morning: corridors littered with soiled towels my departing memory. Declined £20 for a "continental breakfast on top of £317."
