"Fabulous friendly and accommodating staff. Incredible hearty breakfast options. Accommodation incredibly quiet leading to a restful nights sleep. Guest parking on site in the heart of the village. Would definitely return."
"I would definitely recommend a stay at Brantfell House. The English breakfast was lovely. Our bed was VERY comfortable!
Adie is full of knowledge and enthusiasm about the area, and is happy to provide recommendations when asked. We felt really welcome here. There is not much parking, so Adie goes out of his way to help out!"
"This B&B was booked for its proximity to the Rugby club for a party, and we didn’t want to camp, or drive home.
However, I travel a lot for work and this is place that has got it right (better than many 4 star hotels) there are usb port and sockets at the bedside tables, large towels. Plenty of milk and tea and coffee (bag - not instant). Smart clean bathroom, without bottles screwed to the wall. And breakfast was fabulous (and I normally don’t eat a full engish from the warming plate in big places but here it was freshly cooked and high quality local ingredients, (there was a vegy option with hulloumi) and the fruit was good as well (not a frozen berry in sight)
Genuinely one of the better places I have stayed this year "

"Fabulous hotel in the middle of Ambleside.
Staff were all amazing ... fantastic customer service from everyone we encountered. Room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very clean and quiet. Plenty of free parking available on site. Public areas were expansive, relaxing and once again very well presented.
We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return trip for a longer period. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to all."
