⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful and Memorable Stay We had such a lovely stay at the Radcliffe Guest House in Ross-on-Wye and genuinely could not have asked for a warmer welcome. From the moment we arrived, Geoff and Kim were incredibly friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. Geoff kindly helped us carry our luggage to our room when we checked in, which was such a lovely personal touch. He then spent time chatting with us and sharing lots of useful local knowledge, recommending places to visit, things to see and...

We booked on the spur of the moment for one night and definitely picked the best location in Ross on Wye. The hotel has a fantastic terrace with a great view and we were given a room with that view too when we asked. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed comfortable with lovely crispy white sheets. The hotel staff were all very friendly and polite, especially the waiter at breakfast who smoothly fulfilled our request to see the view again whilst having breakfast with smiles and no...

Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.

Really lovely hotel with fantastic public rooms. Cosy bar with log fire and home made cakes or cocktails later on. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Rooms are being upgraded and the views are beautiful.

We were made very welcome by Sophie and Andy who looked after all our needs and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and comfortable with all facilities. We had the cooked breakfasts which were excellent. We would highly recommend Lea House.

Charming cottage. Good kitchen and lovely private space in garden

We booked the hotel for its proximity to Simmons Yat, a well known beauty spot. The hotel turned out to be just as attractive in its own way for our 7 day stay. The rooms were comfortable and adequately appointed. In the restaurant we found the menus to be wide ranging in choice and the quality of the food and presentation to be generally good. A few of the dishes, namely the Beef Stroganoff, Rump Steak and the Soup and Brie starters to be exemplary. The bar had a good selection of beers and...

Beautiful location away from busy life, lovely house which was spotless. Beds were comfy and was a great stay.

We liked the perfect location and setting we thought the track from the road needed attention

Really great little property - away from any distraction and with a great Hot tub you can use and listen to the owls at night.
