"The rooms were nice and spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Spa area was very small, jacuzzi very busy and as it was small we had to wait around for a while before we could find space to get in. Location is perfect, close to public transport, town centee with lots of restaurants. Beach is across the road. Town centre is dilapidated and feels unsafe. We encountered alot of drunk people during midday and one night during a stroll on the beach at 9pm, we were chased off by a drunk man swearing and shouting towards us! Felt very intimidated and unsafe. "

"I loved that my dog got a welcome doggie goody bag on check-in and she could eat breakfast with us. Very clean, modern and lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay again. We stayed the night before as we caught the channel tunnel the following morning which was convenient."

"If it weren't for the staff, this would be a typical run-of-the-mill conference hotel. However, the staff are outstanding - I stay in hotels at least twice a week, and the reception experience from Steve was the best and friendliest I've ever had. Throughout the rest of my day, from breakfast, through to the events team I noticed such care and passion from the team, with many people pro-actively spotting when guests needed help or guidance. Really world-class service, thank you. "

"Stayed here for daughter's wedding and we rented 10 lodges between us. Ideal setting as all close together and was great for all the family to be together. Lodges lovely and adequately sleep 6, however some are very dark and some at top of a steep hill. We stayed in number 2 which was lovely, very bright and had a nice bit of garden for kids to run about in, however some further up do not have this facility and are darker as big trees very close by. I would definitely stay again."
