The best getaway
Myself and my family had such a lovely time at this lodge. Everything was perfect. It was clean peaceful and in perfect location for everything. The host Timo was so helpful and we really didn't want our time to end. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to come back ourselves. Thank you so much for a perfect family getaway

Wonderful cabin
Absolutely lovely stay at Karelia cabin near Ringwood. The cabin is just lovely. Better than in the photos. Great open plan lounge/dining/kitchen. Comfortable & warm (log burner in centre of room is particularly nice). Really well finished with 3 new bathrooms (all with well sized walk-in showers), kitchen is also newly fitted & the back deck has a hot tub. It is dog friendly. We will certainly be visiting again. Thanks you!

Superb Family Stay
We are two families made up of two adults and one child and two adults and four children. The layout of the property was perfect for our group with all bedrooms just off the main lounge area. We spent 4 days at Karelia and would recommend for anyone looking for a well located, well appointed holiday let. The hot tun was a real feature, for both adults and children. It is a wonderful social space and a short wander into the forest.

Lovely Christmas in Karelia log cabin
We had an amazing christmas in Karelia, decorated with a big christmas tree and fairy lights. Cooking christmas dinner was a breeze in the fully equiped kitchen. Lots of fridge space and a nice size freezer. Log burner and the hot tub made our stay extra special. Walks for as long as you want from the garden directly into the forest. Plenty of parking right by the front door which was great for unloading presents, food and bottles of fizzy etc. Thank you to Timo and Steven. We had such a lovely Christmas xx

Great stay at Karelia
We had a lovely stay at Karelia cabin. It was perfect size for the 9 of us and exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and taking lots of walks in Moors Valley Country Park via the gate at the end of the property.

Wow , what a great stay we had ! The cosy well equipped cabin met all our needs,and was set out perfectly for the 5 adults , 2 children and a dog. Set in a lovely setting , peaceful and tranquil and a great walk nearby . The hot tub was a great hit with all . We went to Moor Valley country park which was only a short distance away . The host was easy to contact with a couple of question we had . Id fully recommend staying here

Fabulous cabin set within a magical wood.
We went as a family of six to drop our Niece off at Southampton University. It was the most perfect place for a relaxing family break and the dogs loved it too! It is in a quiet spot perfectly located near to Southampton and Bournemouth with the stunning New Forest on our door step. After a lovely walk, a dip in the hot tub followed by a glass of wine in front of the log burner was the perfect end to a perfect day...we would highly recommend.

A great family holiday.
A lovely cabin in a great location with all the facilities you could ask for. Beautiful forest walks on the doorstep, and a short drive from the New Forest and everything that has to offer. One very small thing, the garden perimeter was open to surroundings. it would be a bonus if it was fully fenced as we had to have the dog tethered or on the lead at all times. A beautiful place though, and we would happily recommend.

Perfect family break
Property furnished to a high standard. The photos don’t do it justice. Three lovely bathrooms each with fabulous walk in hot showers. Good sized fridge and freezer and dishwasher in modern new kitchen with adjoining utility area. The property flowed for family living especially good with snug separate TV area. Loved the easy access from the veranda into the good sized hot tub. The only slight negative was the attic room was quite hot as no skylight window to open. The owners are very helpful and accommodating and I would recommend this property for a family gathering… we were a party of 10. Ringwood is a lovely town about a mile away with a few nice wine bars (Framptons very good cocktails) and lots of coffee shops. We would definitely return.

A beautiful forest getaway
We stayed here with family (6 adults, 3 children, a fairly newborn baby and 1 dog). This was a fantastic property for all of us. The location was ideal - right on the doorstep of the forest for us to go exploring; about a 45 minute walk to the play trail which is worth a visit. The hot tub was a hit with all of us. It was also just a 20 min drive into Bournemouth and other locations. Property was incredibly clean and the host was friendly. The room with the bunk beds got incredibly hot as it doesn’t have any windows so the doors to the next bedroom and the shared area need to be kept open for ventilation and to avoid overheating. The app said checkout was 11 but it says 10 in the property. Discussed this with host and he was very understanding and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic getaway
Had a great weekend break at Karelia. Set in the forest with access to Moors Valley the kids and adults loved it. Bedrooms and bathrooms all nicely put together, and the kitchen equipped for catering for the group. Would recommend without hesitation.

Very spacious and well equipped with excellent bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. Really only suitable for 6 adults and two children, as the hideaway bed in the eaves was too hot at this time of the year. Our 5yr old granddaughter loved the bunk beds! We all loved visiting the nearby Moors Valley Country Park.

This property was perfect for our needs and matched up to the website description. Newly refurbished and extended, it was very well equipped with a good kitchen and excellent showers. The layout was fun for the teenage guests, who were also happy with the wifi speeds. The hot tub got a lot of use and we also used the sauna (extra charge). It's really easy to get to the coast and to the New Forest by car, and there are more local walks and bike trails accessible directly from the cabin.

Fabulous Finish cabin in the Forest!
We had a fantastic holiday at Karelia. The cabin was perfect, big, newly refurbished, authentic and super cozy and comfortable. The garden was beautiful and the jacuzzi and the access to the forest a total bonus! The hosts are lovely, very friendly and always at hand to help. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable!

Lovely log cabin by the woods
We had a really lovely stay over a long weekend. The property has just been done up (April 23) so everything was new. We had two families with 5 kids in total aged 5 - 8 and a dog and it was perfect. It literally backs onto the woods so great for getting out into nature.

What an amazing place this is to stay. Considering the amount of people staying there it never felt crowded. Great touch of decorating the lodge with Christmas decorations. Timo was accommodating and answered any questions we had.... and the wife and kids loved the WW2 sauna with a plunge pool. Thank you for an amazing stay and really can't wait to re-book

Lovely log cabin, better than the photos. Owner provided everything from washing tablets to hand wash. My grandson loved his ‘ hideaway’ bedroom and the garden was a great space complete with basket swing which the kids loved. You really feel you are in the forest but it is only a minute away from access to the main roads to Bournemouth and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend and easily slept 7 people. I would definitely go again , we had a great stay .

Owner is friendly and helpful. Great location. Cabin itself is a little shabby but comfortable. Lovely to have the firepit and hot tub. But... The photos are a combination of 2 different Cabins and it's not easy to tell which is which. 3 of the bedrooms in kerelia are interconnecting which is not mentioned in the details. This does mean it's not really suitable for 3 couples. Overall a lovely relaxing holiday.

Thanks for the feedback, Kirsten. To date the houses have been 2 units of the same VRBO listing. We will now transfer into 2 separate and distinct listings to solve the issue of the pictures.

Kids loved it, lovely walks around, local village is do nice, half an hour from Bournemouth which has lovely beach. Couple of minor issues, I will discuss with owner as easy fixes. Loved it, will return.

We had a great holiday in the cabin with lots of walks straight out the property into the woods. Moors Valley park was only 5 minutes walk away with lots to do. We never used our car and really enjoyed switching off and relaxing with the use of the hot tub , fire pit and very cosy and warm cabin. We have already decided to re-book as I’m sure plenty of other guests do after their stay. 5/5 James and family.

Very comfortable, good internet access, owner was very friendly and very helpful. He Supplied additional rooms for 2 adults as sleeping was quite tight, but we did have a party of 12 people and 2 dogs. Everything that was needed was supplied. A home from home 🏡
Karelia has definitely become our ‘happy place’ and always ticks all the boxes for us. The owners go to to such effort to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable and made the all lodges look beautiful for Christmas. The new additional double bedroom was a nice surprise and comfortably allows for up to 6/7 guests. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Cosy woodland cabin escape
We stayed in the Karelia cabin over a long weekend, and it couldn't have been better! The cabin is simple, cosy, and warm, with everything you need: a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, hot shower, large TV, and even a washing machine. The hot tub was wonderful! The cabin is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by woodland, with many beautiful walks on the doorstep. We've been staying here for years, and will keep coming back for many more!

Amazing location!
Great Nordic log cabin in a beautiful location in the forest. Private access into Ringwood Forest. Great walks. Log cabin is really cosy with large tv and Netflix. Hot Tub perfect after the long walks. BBQ and fire pit. Excellent host Timo, on hand for everything. Very close to Moors Valley Country Park which is amazing for kids. We did Go Ape, Steam Train and play areas. Great things to do. Beaches 15 mins drive and Waitrose 5 mins down the road. Just perfect we will be back. Highly recommended.

Great spot in the New Forest
Great location to base yourselves to explore this area. The cabin is as per the photos, a bit quirky and very different to your typical accommodation. The dog loved wandering around and it felt safe for him to do so. It had all the facilities you needed. Being a log cabin it is quite dark inside and that bed in the eaves would have limited appeal but for the two of us (or say a family of 4/5) it was perfect. Loved the hot tub in the evening and would definitely recommend.
