Best hotel I have stayed at, location great as a central point to Lisbon and surrounding areas, superb amenities and extras included. Highly recommend and wish I stayed longer.

Portugal and it's people are gentle and kind. We have visited many times and love it north to south. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy dirt road is a real gem. Only 7 rooms - ours even had a wood burning stove (yes it did). More oranges than you could eat in a lifetime and so quiet at night you can hear them grow. This hotel is a proper find! A lovely, peaceful oasis, filled with a myriad of beautiful plants and trees. Everywhere you look are interesting objects and bric a brac, all collected by the owner. The breakfast was excellent - a good variety of offerings and scrambled eggs on request. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, even though we turned up late. N.B. We had a wonderfull restful few days here. Rachael and her family were very kind and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure their guests were comfortable and happy. Would definitely recommend a stay here to unwind and relax. The hotel is a little bit 'out of the way' so having a car would have made eating out and exploring the area a little easier but we managed fine with taxis which were cheap and readily available..

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. The only problem was our own fault as we hadn't looked into the ease of travelling into lisbon.

A super cool campsite, really good conditions, comfortable and great views! We stayed at Neptune bungalow and it was great, amazing sunrise view to the lake. Safe, quiet, friendly staff, surrounded by nature. A really family friendly environment, would definitely come back. Plenty of parking spaces.
