"The staff of this hotel were excellent, from the greeting of the receptionists, to the cleaners and breakfast staff to the checkout. All service levels were excellent. The hotel itself was in good and clean condition and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone was incredibly helpful. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay with the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool/John Lennon Airport. We had booked 2 nights stay to attend the Grand National at Aintree. The room was good, and everything was well catered for, tea and coffee, an abundance of Shower gel, shampoo, and lovely body lotion. We could not fault the Hotel at all, the staff were exceptionally helpful and very pleasant, and could not do enough. There were unfortunately an issue with the keys to the room - they were not working properly (these things happen) and each time we were accompanied to our room with no issue at all. We had breakfast and evening meal and the food was delicious each time. Exceptionally good was the parking and we could park our car literally outside the front entrance of the hotel. Will definitely return next year. "

"Staff were lovely and building looked impressive, set in nice grounds and the food was good in the bar area. However inside the room was a bit tired and decoration shabby. The room was very hot with no air com (just a table fan) and safety limits on the windows meant you could only open them an inch. There was no fridge in the room for keeping things cool either. Also the shower tray didn't drain proprerly so you ended up standing in water that I was worried would spill over and the floorboards in the room upstairs were very loud and creaky which was a bit annoying. Overall it was a lovely stay just a few little things that stopped it getting 5 stars."

"We have stayed here before, and the decor, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff were just as good. We had an issue with a noise in our room, but on reporting to staff in Reception we were offered ( and moved) to another room straight away. Breakfast times were busy, particularly as our stay coincided with the Grand National, but all staff kept a good sense of purpose, making sure that everything flowed as smoothly as possible. Well done and thank you. Next time we are in Liverpool, we shall certainly look again at staying here (availability and price being considered). "
