Ensuites are "pods" installed in the rooms and so are small but useable. Staff are all excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and hot food was hot, not lukewarm as in so many other hotels. Wi-Fi worked well most of the time though we did experience very brief "outages" in our room. Location was perfect, situated on the edge of Queen's Dock, with rooms on one side of the hotel overlooking the waterfront, very close (easy walking distance) to many of the museums and attractions in the docks and city centre area. One HUGE bonus: parking is on-site and free! And because of the hotel's proximity to so much of Liverpool's attractions, there's no need to have to use a car to get anywhere, unless you want to! We chose to visit some more distant areas, e.g., Aigburth and Ormskirk, since Liverpool was where my wife and I first met over 50 years ago and these were places special to us and where we lived at the time. As an EV driver I was particularly pleased to have charging points available in the hotel car park, and at a very reasonable price when compared with "common" public chargers, 59p per kWh, up to 22 kW.
