"On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. It is a self service keyless entry. when you get in contact with the actual property manager you’re given a card via A key holder lock which opens the front door and opened your room inside the room. It is clean well maintained, decent shower, full tea coffee facilities, the only complaint i must make is the thickness of the mattress wasn’t thick enough for me and found my hips were touching the bed base when I was laying on my side. There again, I am set thick man. In the daytime, I met the cleaner who was very helpful very polite and very attentive. My stay was pleasant and I would recommend anybody on a budget to visit the hotel."

"Nice warm welcome from the owners. Small room when we'd booked a big room Two singles pushed together and very poor nights sleep in poorly fitted bed owing to the fact its 2 singles pushed together No fridge in room no water in room no glasses in room to at least drink from the taps no waters or mini bar downstairs just a bottle of flat coke 0 and a blue buzzball good tv and decor .. tv has all online amenities big shower with slight poor controls .. standard at almost every hotel in existence great location would not recommend or stay again cheers"

"Very convenient location to explore Portsmouth. Parking in the Gunwharf Centre was easy and only £2 for a 2 night stay. Make sure you have your parking ticket endorsed at Reception when you check in. The hotel breakfast was good and plenty of options."
