"Beautiful location. Very
dog
friendly. We had a king size room overlooking the harbour. It was up a few flights of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Use of guest pantry which was a lovely touch. Very good breakfast menu. All staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Totally give this a full 100%. Owners were lovely. Couldn't do enough for us. Description of the studio apartment spot on, but you can't put fully into words the view from the property. If you're like us and enjoy doing a bit of people watching, this is definitely the place for you. Fishermen and other locals are really friendly. Area is so
dog
friendly, our Frenchie Reux enjoyed his many walks."

"We had a great stay the cottage was very clean and had everything that you would need, the location suited us very quiet with some nice walks our two
dogs
loved it. Weirfest was on so we spent a couple of evenings down there listening to some bands and sampling the local ale. Great meal at the Bottom Ship which is a short walk away and the hotel next door does a good pizza. Overall a great cottage if you want peace and quiet we will be staying again."

Stunning coastal home with panoramic sea views in Porlock Weir - 6 bed / 6 bath

"We stayed the week before Christmas and had one of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had. The location is beautiful with views over to Wales on a clear day. Even the
dog
enjoyed sitting and staring out of the window. Lots of great local walks and Porlock Weir is lovely - several nice (and
dog
friendly) places to eat. The house itself was spotless and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and we appreciated the small touches too (including being wonderfully...

"Beautiful location with sea views. Clean and good facilities for self catering. Loved that it was
dog
friendly - we were able to escape the city fireworks and have a very relaxed
dog
! Easy stroll down to Porlock weir with lots of places to eat and drink. Lots of local
dog
walks, access to costal path. Our only slight negative is driveway is a little awkward, however we parked up and didn't move the car all week, so it wasn't really a problem for us and wouldn't stop us booking in the...

"Western Cottage is in the most perfect location of Porlock Weir - one of our favourite places on Earth! The cottage itself is wonderful, we felt at home immediately and the straight access to the beach from the back garden was perfect for our children to explore. Local walks, crabbing, swimming (if you can brave the cold water!) and a pint or two in The Bottom Ship are all a must."
