The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues.The Jersey Mob

Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

Excellent location and a nice hotel. Our room was lovely with a small balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. Most staff was helpful and friendly except on Thursday morning breakfast staff was not welcoming at all. They sat around smoking and breakfast was not ready on time (8am start a little late anyways).

A faultless stay.

We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town. Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. We ate in the Michelin* restaurant in the hotel. We booked our room very last minute & so initially they said they couldn’t fit us in...

This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed as it offers so much more than just a comfortable hotel space. The connection of Casa sull'albero to its magnificent position overlooking Lake Como is very sensitively achieved. It is a place that understands the importance of design and the simplicity and beauty of nature is allowed to shine through. Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in.
