"Our host could not have been nicer. He picked us up at the train station, took us to the grocery store, and even provided us wifi so we could keep track of our home in Florida during the hurricaine. The washing machine in the apartment was great to have as we had been traveling for a week and needed to use it. The apartment had a cute balcony to look out over the lake. "This was a great stay at a very reasonable price for Lecco, we had a double room with a small balcony and it was quite comfortable. The area around the hotel is beautiful, being on the lakeside and with two or three restaurants or bars very close, the one next door is very popular. The team at the hotel are very helpful and if you are planning to get a taxi from the airport the cost of a hotel

is considerably less than a Milan taxi. I would stay here again. A couple of notes for others...

"The location is perfect, right on Lake Como with a private beach. The room is good, bathroom a bit small but convenient. Nice balcony above the water. Because there is no restaurant at the hotel it would be handy to install a mini fridge and a coffee/tea maker. In the nearest village is a supermarket, MD, and everything is very cheap. To the other side is a great restaurant, Onnolulu."
