Me and my wife had a one night stay, traveled from Milan. We enjoyed a walk along the lake (which was right next to the hotel), there was a market on (Tuesday's) and plenty to see etc. We relaxed by the bar with a few drinks and watched the world go by. There was a swimming pool but we didn't use it. The evening was spent at the hotel, dinner was excellent and room was very comfortable.

Brilliant staff, location, air con, and restaurant with unbeatable views make this an incredible hotel. Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating.

When you walk into the courtyard at the Palazzo you know you are somewhere special. Arianna is very welcoming and speaks very good English. The La Vista room we chose was simply amazing. Six big windows letting the light stream in and giving us fantastic views out over the Lake. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished and was spotlessly clean. The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff was very helpful and friendly

Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey. The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. Enjoyable stay in September, close to the town with amazing views over the lake. This is not a corporate hotel which makes it more special. You have to allow that the design and style is more like someone's home rather than an part of an international chain of hotels. If you want to get a feel for 19th century elegance with modern facilities and service this is the place to stay. This hotel is amazing and good value for money. Great location in the centre of town in the shopping district and just a short walk to the ferry terminal and the train stations. All the staff were very helpful and are able to offer tips on things to do in Como. The room was pleasant - nespresso machine, kettle and tea and coffee included. Excellent location and a nice hotel. Our room was lovely with a small balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. Most staff was helpful and friendly except on Thursday morning breakfast staff was not welcoming at all. They sat around smoking and breakfast was not ready on time (8am start a little late anyways).

Small family run hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Buffet breakfast, with some cooked food available, never run out of anything, extra coffee offered. Dinner menu and wine list good. Gets very busy due to location opposite water taxis. There is also a bar with snacks attached for day time. Hotel has three floors and there is a lounge room on the 1st and 2nd floors with books and some games.

We were impressed with the hotel and staff. Sam and his Mother were professional and made sure our stay was great. The breakfast was delicious and had many options aswell. We would highly recommend this hotel, you’ll be impressed also 🙂
