Pro: convenient location, safe parking spaces by the street(need to beware of parking time), very friendly staff, good tv channels, good bathroom
Con: very loud air conditioning, slow wifi, noisy and uncomfortable mattress, you hear your neighbors very well.

The hotel is in a great location - across the road from the metro and within walking distance of some lovely restaurants and cafés. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful when we found the room a little cool and brought up an extra heater promptly. The rooms are big and he bathroom was huge. All in all I would totally recommend a stay in this hotel while in Montreal- a refreshing change from large chain hotels, especially when visiting such a beautiful city.
It was our second time at this bed and breakfast, and we intend on visiting annually. The staff are super friendly and bilingual. Our fist time here, we arrived at 3am due to train delays and surely woke up the staff. They still had a smile on their face and welcomed us. Parc la Fontaine is across the road, and it's less than a ten minute walk to Rue St Denis. We took our morning coffee to the terrace each day and enjoyed a little tranquility as we woke up. The rooms are quaint and clean, and each one is unique. Breakfast includes quiche, croissants, cheese, fruit, a variety of Montreal bagels, and more. It's a lovely little getaway, and I fully recommend it.

Great location, central on St.Denis. Great jazz bar next door. Friendly staff.
Accomodations are perfect for travellers like me who want something simple, functional, and reasonably priced.
I will be back next time.
We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Akiko is a great hostess. We were greeted and the door and immediately shown to our room, which was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view out the windows onto the neighborhood street. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of hearty options. We walked everywhere all weekend and the location was easy for access to food and the attractions.
Plateau Mont-Royal, northeast of the downtown Montreal area, is bordered by St-Joseph Boulevard, Sherbrooke Street, Papineau Avenue, and St-Urbain Street. Considered one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in Montreal with a lively art scene, the Quartier Mode where local designers have set up shop, and green spaces for picnics. Enjoy international cuisine from the area's numerous restaurants.
