Great hotel even better location. Close to metro, restaurant and night clubs. The 747 bus stops right out front which will take you to the airport. If you a looking for a hassle free holiday this is the place to stay.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Very convenient location- able to walk around old Montreal and Chinatown. There is some on site parking- costs about $28 a day.
This hotel is definitely worth the stay for the price. While the property is a little dated, it is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We also appreciated the fresh coffee available in the morning. Overall, everything about our stay was wonderful, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very Helpful staff. Really helped me out. The room was clean and everything worked well. The elevator was old and run down. For the price I paid it was a perfectly fine hotel. Great location. Short walks to Centre Bell and Basilica Notre Dame. Easy access to public transit. Overall a fine experience.

This is a discount kind of hotel. The sheets and bedding were old and of poor quality. The soap was cheap. The parking is too far away with absence of signage as to entrance. But thr hotel was clean and adequate if on a budget.
The location is very convenient. However The place is not kept clean. We had a leak in the ceiling. The staff were not helpful. The shower did not work the last day before I check out so we could not shower. When confronted the staff, they said there’s nothing they can do about it.
It wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in in but wasn't the worst either. Very walkable, not too far from the old city. Lots of homeless people in the neighborhood and abandoned buildings. We had issues with the cold water that they figured out by having us run the water for several minutes. They cleaned the room randomly once in the 4 nights we were there and forgot to to give us face cloths. The building seemed pretty run down and the in location resturant was closed. All that being said. We slept well, the bed was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed being able to walk around Montreal and having this as our base of operations.
There was nothing about the pictures on line that resembled the room. Pros: helpful night staff, excellent location, good hot water, inexpensive price. Cons: not very clean room, poorly maintained public spaces, bed sheets on sideways (so mattress cover was exposed on top and bottom), noisy room (barking dog one night, fighting neighbours another).
People are purposely leaving negative reviews. This place is really decent for only $100 on a July Wednesday night. See my pictures and you will see. The view is great the location is great and other hotels like Travelodge and Hotel Zero 1 are charging $200 to $300 a night for the same area. They did charge me a $200 incidental fee but the staff told me they have to charge that much because people purposely trash the hotel rooms thinking they can get away with it because it is a cheaper hotel than all the others and they think it doesn't matter. They did say it takes 7 to 10 business days for the $200 hold to come off your account. I'm wondering why I didn't stay here before

Disliked: Amenities
The property is quite old with zero amenities--not even cable TV. The TV was even old. The on site restaurant was closed down (renovations?)The room had a fridge but no microwave. The room was large enough & had a large bathroom and seemed clean. The room was also quite dim with 3 lamps. It had an air conditioner which worked well & was quiet enough to not disturb sleep.
The neighborhood was PHENOMENAL! Walk to the Old City, Chinatown, the Old Port & the International Jazz Fest, which was happening during my stay. Perfect location to be a tourist in a very walkable city.

The female night staff at front desk was not very helpful or very friendly. No advance notice the restaurant was closed. Would’ve been very nice if they at least provided coffee in the lobby while restaurant was being renovated. Rooms were clean and great location but can’t say much else positive.

They offer a clean , spacious room at a good price. The hotel is also at a great location. It is just minutes away from Old Montreal and close to the metro. However, the upkeep could be better. The refrigerator racks were either missing or broken and my nightstand had a broken drawer. The closet is large but there were only 3 clothes hangers present. Like many hotels, they will let you store your luggage after you check out. However at this hotel they charge a fee for this service.

It was your standard room in a central location. We stayed overnight for a concert and it was a 2km walk from Centre Bell which was nice. Room was comfortable but the floors were quite dirty, like they hadn’t been mopped in at least a few weeks. Some staff were super helpful, others had obviously dealt with too many difficult clients to care. Hotel itself is pretty run down. Underground parking lot is tiny and only has 17 spots. Not great for large trucks. I would have given the hotel a 2.5 star for overall cleanliness, amenities, and condition. We tried to check in an hour and a half early and the person at the counter didn’t even check if a room was available. It was just a blanket “come back at 4pm”. Passable, but at their price point, you can find nicer places in Montreal.
This was our first stop on our 2 weeks in Canada, 2 nights in Montreal. Look for public parking lots and leave your car there while you walk everywhere. The recommended 388 Rue de Christian which feels kinda sketchy. I think I’d try the Public parking lot in China town it’s on a Main Street and not down an alley.
The hotel does NOT look as nice & modern as the pictures. Our room had a lot of water damage along the floor, holes in wall, someone busted the bay door in and did a janky job repairing the handle area.
Pros:
- location! We walked all over. 10-15 min walk.
-2 key cards
Cons:
-if the online pics are a 100, real life is a 20.
-full size beds
-their cafe was under construction
Would I stay here again? 1 out of 5.

Not as advertised, very disappointing and over priced.
Selected this hotel because of its proximity to the person we were visiting. Location is convenient for downtown, but be aware of open drug use and garbage on the streets.
Lobby looks nothing like the photos. No modern red leather chairs, rather gray cloth and starting to wear. Panels on the elevator wall are chipped and loose. They move when you touch them.
Room was a nice size and pet friendly but other than that it was in terrible condition and out dated. Broken furniture, towel rack missing and holes in wall, hair in bathtub and shower walls. The air conditioner is from 1970's and provides little cooling, not to mention the rattling noisy fan. Tried to use hair dryer but when you do the base on the wall spins around. Bathroom has had some tile updates but a very poor installation. Cast iron tub is showing rust. Sofa looks like it was upholstered in your grandmother's curtains.
This hotel is dated and in need of quality maintenance and refresh.
Paying $396 for this room is ridiculous. I feel scammed.
Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent price and location.
I really don’t understand why there’s so many bad reviews.
For the price and location it’s a great option.
Parking was an issue.
We parked at the hospital for $11 a day.

Good place for its price, downtown and historical places in a walkable proximity.
But the hotel itself is rather old and not well maintained.
The floors in the room had weird waxy cover as it wasn’t properly cleaned. The door into the bathroom was broken and couldn’t fully close.
No kettle.
