"Great location, friendly staff, but hard to work"
This was my first visit to Citiz and to Toulouse, on a business trip. The location is ideal for getting around town and walking through and around the Old City after hours - very charming and great staff. When we booked we thought there was some type of fitness room but there isn't. The real issue though is the rooms are so small there isn't even room for the smallest of desks (just a hospital tray over the bed?) and only one flimsy chair in one corner. Even the shower (which is a single standing stall with sliding door) doesn't even have a small shelf where you can put the shampoo and gel - you have to leave it on the floor and figure it out. No washcloth for the gel either. Internet was free but the system doesn't remember anyone so every time you open up your notebook, you have to re-enter all the authentication again. So while it is in a great location and as I said super friendly and helpful staff, I do not think I will try it again.
If you're in Toulouse to see the sights, nearly everything you would like to see is within walking distance of this hotel. Right outside the door are numerous restaurants, shops, and a lovely park. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a pleasurable stay. The hotel also has a parking garage which is a big deal as parking is very limited in the city. The staff were courteous and helpful.
Pleasant hotel in centre of town. Easy access to airport shuttle and easy walking distance to historic centre. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. It's on a busy road but I did not find it a problem. Area around about is safe and busy even at night.
Only negative comment is that there is late night cafe on a street behind the hotel, which can be very noisy until well into the early hours especially if the window is open. As there was no air conditioning in my room and as it was unseasonably hot during my Spring visit I had the window open so was very aware of the noise. However I did sleep through it. A lighter sleeper would not!
There was a variety of guest and age during my stay. Some appeared to be regular visitors.
Overall I was pleased with hotel and would happily return to it.

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, the hotel is perfect for anyone who likes to stay in a quiet hotel as there was no noise of traffic or other hotel guests. Our room was clean and spacious and had a small fridge and safe which both came in handy. We didn't watch TV as we were out but it was a good size flat screen TV.
The ensuite bathroom had a bath and shower which had a decent pressure. I wouldn't say strong but okay.
I loved the location of the hotel near Wilson square which has a great restaurant starting with and H, cant remember the name. We also enjoyed some mojitos at the brazillian cocktail bar around the corner.

Were given early check-in and the hotel is within walking distance of all the local attractions. Room itself is oddly laid out but good enough for a one night stay. We liked the fact that we were able to take the train from Carcassonne, walk to the hotel and then take the airport bus shuttle which is located steps away from the hotel.

Three of us stayed at Castellane when in Toulouse for a weekend watching rugby. The room was comfortable, the shower was good and the staff were friendly. The facilities were basic but the value for money is very good and for what we paid it's very difficult to find fault.

Everything is perfect except for the shower room. The style is weird because there is no cover or shower curtain so the water is all over the floor!
Also the carpet looks dirty because of the stain! All the rest, our stay in Citadines was okay!
