"I booked this hotel for a long weekend break with my family. Due to a genuine emergency, I was unable to check in on the day of arrival. I messaged the hotel through Expedia in advance to explain the situation — they acknowledged my message regarding parking, but completely ignored my notice that I would not be arriving that day. When I arrived the following day, I was told my room had been given to someone else. The hotel had re-listed and re-sold my room without any notification or attempt to contact me. Despite showing up in person, I was refused a refund — meaning they effectively charged me twice for the same room while profiting from a new booking. This is both deeply disappointing and, I believe, unfair practice. Neither Expedia nor the hotel took any responsibility for the situation. I will not be returning to this hotel, and I would strongly caution others to consider how either party handles issues before booking"

"We just loved our stay here. Glamping and so much more. The pod was very large, very clean, very comfortable, and had everything you would need for a first class stay. The internet was blazing fast. The kitchen was good sized, and it even had a large refrigerator and dishwasher. We stayed there 3 nights and wish we had made the reservation for more nights."

"Great hotel, nice clean room, a bit on the small side but more than adequate for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was quite nice with a decent selection of food. Staff were pleasant although I did have to ask twice for a receipt for a coffee I bought from the bar. The server inadvertently put the receipt in the till and went on to serve someone else."

"My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. We had a sitting room (with verandah) which was very comfortable and well equipped with a coffee maker, selection of high quality teas. There was a large bathroom and a super king size bed. Breakfast was nice, not outstanding but nice. The swimming pool was the big treat. Beautifully warm and the highlight of the stay. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly. This hotel is special and situated next to the Market Square which had lovely coffee shops, quaint shops and enticing pubs. Can’t wait to go back so thank you to all the staff especially Ali xxxxxx"
