But the staff could use with better training in customer service. You should not have to wait several minutes when you arrive at 5:30 pm for someone to open up the door to check you in. "The hotel was well situated and easy to get to. Walking distance to many activities, shops churches and museums etc Room was nice and clean each time we returned from our outings. The only inconvenience was not being able to go out early for church service as the hotel was closed until 7.30am. A Comfortable stay in beautiful city that Cuenca turned out to be. "

"Hotel confused me for my sister who had a separate reservation. Even though I have platinum status she received the upgraded room. We had identified this at the time of checkin. Service by hotel staff was way beyond expectations. We had two non hotel issues and hotel staff went out of their way to resolve. Can’t say enough about the staff. Breakfast items were limited in types but items all were high quality so it balances out. "
