"My wife booked this hotel at the last minute for me and I'm glad she did. The room was lovely, I was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Enjoyed the food in evening and after a long drive from the south of England, I was very well rested for the rest of the drive the next day. Will definitely be back again."

"The property is located in an excellent location, right upon Lake Windermere itself. The staff are all friendly and the breakfast is good. The beds are firm and uncomfortable for me but that might be a personal preference. "

"Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!! Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given. Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it. Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel. Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm. Definitely worth a visit "
