"The cabin was the perfect setting to host out-of-town guests for our special event. Paul is a gracious host and the cabin was conveniently stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. The view of the ocean from the deck made for relaxing mornings and stunning sunsets. We plan to return! "
"The Inn at Summer Hill is a quaint little hotel with lots of charm in the city of Summerland. I stayed here while visiting my niece and I would definitely stay here again. The room was like a little cottage, and it had a patio that overlooked the ocean. The staff at the front desk was amazing and went out of their way to comp me breakfast and coffee. I felt very safe as well. The only negatives are the Road Noise and nearby train and there doesn't seem to be a daily cleaning service-if so, they missed my room. "
"Gorgeous property with lush gardens and outside seating areas. We found the suite to be perfectly maintained, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It was close to good restaurants, hiking and easy access to all that Santa Barbara has to offer. Check in and out was efficient and easy and the host was very thoughtful and responsive. "Stayed here for five nights with my family including two older kids and a toddler and it was one of our favorite vacation rentals ever. The unit is exactly as shown in the photos: in great condition, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed and some nice extras. The king size bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, and the older kids loved their bunk beds. There's a unit above the rental but that was never an issue, the soundproofing was really good and the other guests all very respectful. The rental was great for our toddler, we could close the gate to the patio and he could move between the indoors and outdoors all he liked.We spent a lot of time relaxing on the beautiful private patio and in the incredible shared garden areas. It's like being in a tropical paradise.The location is fantastic and why we initially chose this rental. It's across the street from a park, next door to a gorgeous shop and gardens, a couple doors down from a great brunch spot, and a short walk up the road to downtown Summerland. Meanwhile Santa Barbara and Carpinteria are both less than a 10-minute drive away. You get all the benefits of easy access to activities in those places while staying in a quaint little ocean side town."
