"We arrived to the hotel for a 3 day stay only to discover a recent storm had knocked out the power. The staff had offered to locate new accommodations for us but we decided to stay as the power was to be restored shortly. While it must have been very stressful for the staff, they were courtesy and helpful. Fortunately, the power came on after a few hours, allowing us key card access to our room and the ability to charge our phones. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was in a very convenient location for our needs. They have a lovely outdoor space for dining."

"Staff was very friendly especially one very nice woman by the name of Raquel. I hope I spelled her name right. She was a wonderful lady that walked around near the restaurant and was very helpful with anything that we needed. I appreciated that she was there when the front desk was busy with other guests. She’s a great asset to the hotel team. I will be back again to book another stay thanks to Raquel and hopefully see the same friendly faces. Loved that the staff at the front desk was able to provide us with the extra pillows and blankets that we needed since it was pretty cold during our stay due the rain. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfy. Lots of space and balcony was real spacious. Location was just right and away from the crowded town so getting out of Solvang was easy with no traffic."
