the staff and the location were absolutely the best. we have stayed in Solvang many times before however, this stay was far and above anything prior. we stay in Solvang every time we travel north and will be staying at King Frederick again, bet on it. the breakfast and room were superb as was the staff, highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the location, it couldn't have been any better. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and cozy. The only negative would be is the bathroom ceiling fan was very loud and should be replaced. I would stay there again and I can't wait to come back.

I loved staying here. The hotel was right in the middle of the town, so everything was very close by. It was very clean and the ac kept the room cool. Breakfast was included, but I didn't get any because we wanted to try breakfast at a local restaurant. One downside is that the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors talking at night. They supply ear plugs in the lobby if you need them!

We like the location as it is in the middle of town on the main street. Good coffee. We usually stay overnight while traveling from south to north so our experience is limited to short stays.
