"Excellent value, large room, queen-size bed, renovated bathroom with walk-in shower. Courteous staff, nice touches of fruit, cookies, water and coffee in room. "Loved the hotel and how you can definitely still tel it was a former prison. Would give the hotel a rating of 5 but the restaurant needs serious work. We had dinner and breakfast there and the service is atrocious, there appears to be no process or order to the way it is run. "Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facility. The only rating reduction was getting to my room required going up a few some stairs and with bike bag and some luggaage whcih requyired a couple of trips.
