The room, shared spaces and breakfast room were beautiful, the staff were fantastic and answered every question, including booking taxis for us, and the breakfast was delicious. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Absolutely amazing stay! I could not recommend it more! Francesco was always so helpful and attentive, from after we booked until the moment we left we always felt looked after. Such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location! If we ever find ourselves back again we will be staying here

A great hotel with the usual aspect of the old theatre and cinema still there. The hotel is also perfectly positioned for strolls into the town and to the sea . Great views from the terrace. A good selection at breakfast

After reading reviews booked a two night stay & was very pleased that we did. Very welcoming attentive staff. Lovely modernised period building, in a perfect position to explore the old town. Excellent generous breakfast.

This property is a gem. The host is very welcoming and has a wealth of information about the best places to eat and visits. The rooms are simple but very clean. Ideal location central to main tourist sites but not noisy. Strongly recommend.

Fabulous B&B. Anna the host is friendly and welcoming and speaks excellent English. Perfect location just across the bridge to Ortiga. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. Mini fridge with free bottled water was provided in the room and communal area where you could help yourself to snacks, tea and coffee. San Carlo suites is so beautiful THe attention to every detail in this hotel is amazing. I loved the room and the amenities and it is right on the main street in Noto (with the famous Cafe Sicilia right below). The staff are incredibly helpful and the breakfast is 10/10! It's lovely having the breakfast out on the balcony. The bathroom is stock with Oritigia products from Siciliy and everything in Noto is accessible by foot. Loved this hotel - greeted by friendly staff and offered a drink as soon as we arrived which was very welcome. Rooms totally unique. Lovely sitting area up on top patio to relax after a long day - staff kindly made us a pot of tea when our tea bags ran out with bone china tea cups!! Fantastic place - my favourite out of the four we stayed at in Sicily. The owners and staff are very warm and helpful - exceptionally so. The location is great - right in the middle of the restaurant and cafe area of Ortygia, with all key sights within easy walking distance. This was a true boutique hotel right on the main strip in Noto. The small number of rooms meant that we felt really well looked-after. Both Fabio and Antonio and their team were wonderful, attentive and incredibly helpful. Special mention to Antonio for giving us 5* recommendations for dinner, often booking us a table himself! The menu was fresh but was also quite minimum. We were happy with it. We would happily recommend living with Salvo for visiting Syracuse. The location is well located in the city in a quiet neighbourhood, importantly it feels safe.

Booked on the strength of other reviews - and they weren’t wrong. B&B Porta Marina is a brilliant place to stay for exploring Ortigia, with a warm welcome from an excellent host who gave us invaluable & interesting information for our trip. Great breakfast too; recommended.
