"If you are considering this area for your stay, you MUST consider the Coromandel Treasure. We have stayed in many rental properties and this is by far the best we have ever stayed in. It was spotless, spacious, quality in every decision Lyn made. It is well equipped and Lyn went beyond to leave us a welcome package and a wonderful breakfast bar. Which helped so much to get us through the first morning until we could go to 4 Square, a short walk away into the quaint town. Top Town Fish and Chips...

"It was my first visit to Waikawau area where there are two adjacent beautiful bays, Waikawau Bay and Little Bay. The holiday home, Kaka Cottage we stayed at was truly a nice place to enjoy comfort and tranquility as it is situated in the top forest and the host couple is very kind and friendly. They are peace loving people. We really enjoyed staying at the house. I recommend to all."

"We had 5 adults and 3 children staying at the Bach. We all loved it. The location was fabulous for us as we visited the beach (and the estuary) often, and it was less than a 5 minute walk. The street and area generally felt very safe and family friendly, and it was nice and peaceful at the house. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. "Great views. It is a lockwood house so people need to know it is going to make some interesting noises and you are not getting burgled:-). Great place to take a break, handy to Ocean Beach, Whitianga, great places to eat locally as well."

"We had a great stay at this apartment. Spacious enough for 5 of us. We really appreciate the well equipped kitchen. Vaughan was really friendly and accomodating. Lovely location, away from the hustle and bustle of "Whiti City" but only a short drive away if you want to eat out or top up your supplies. Just a short walk to the safe swimming beach just across the road if you don't feel like driving elsewhere. Great walks and sunrise from there too. Our children also really enjoyed the pool. "Wonderful bach. Had everything you need. We fished at the mussel farms and surrounds each day. Launching and retrieving the boat was easy enough at the bottom of the driveway - we have a 6.5 metre runabout. Nikki was fantastic to deal with."

"We loved our stay at the property. The house has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. Peaceful neighborhood at least at this time of the year. Plenty of room for the kids to play in the park next to the house. Tuis visiting the trees of the property everyday was definitely a plus!! Highly recommended!"

"This is a great location in Tairua. We had the two bedroom upstairs villa which is a little dated. Huge main bedroom and ensuite. The second bedroom was combined with a lounge so nowhere really to sit for a chat without being in with the kids. The kitchen was really just a couple of cupboards and a bar fridge. But all was very clean, beds comfortable, great location. The managers were lovely. We will stay again."
