Perfect for an escape all year round, snuggle up by the log fire in winter or lounge on the sunny deck in summer. Close by is the world class Lost Springs - New Zealand’s premier Geo-Thermal pools, spa and restaurant built on a magical oasis of 16,000 year old pure mineral spring water. The perfect sanctuary if you’re looking for a local escape with a touch of indulgence. Ideal for up to 2 families and a location that is hard to beat - summer or winter fun can be yours with beaches, boating, fishing and swimming mere moments away. Set on two levels, upstairs offers generous family living in a spacious Lockwood design. An open plan kitchen, lounge and dining all flowing out to the expansive sunny wrap-around deck. You have the choice of in-door dining at the large 8 seat dining table or out on the deck overlooking the bay. The large master bedroom offers a King bed and 2 walk in wardrobes and seaviews. Enjoy breakfast in bed and look out over the bay! There is a second bedroom upstairs with 2 King Single beds and a large wardrobe, with views over the natural bush surrounds. Upstairs is a large bathroom, toilet and laundry with washing machine, tub and dryer. Downstairs flat provides a separate living/entertaining area, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom features a Queen and Single bed and the other bedroom has a set of Single Bunk beds and a Double/Single Bunk. Note access to the downstairs area is via external stairs at front or rear of house. Note: Linen for beds and Towels is not included. You can bring your own sheets, pillowcases and towels or these can be easily provided for you on request for an additional hire charge. A flat area at the top of the drive provides plenty of off street parking and a nice play area for kids. A short 300m stroll from the house is Brophy's Beach which offers safe swimming and a boat ramp. A 5 minute drive into central Whitianga and you can enjoy some shopping or a meal out at one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants. There are also 2 supermarkets and a Four Square in Whitianga for all your grocery needs. The photos don't do the place justice! We had a group of 10 ages ranging from 6-50\. The views are incredible, the rooms are spacious and all the facilities work well! Warren communicates very simply which I love, just in and out no surprises or interruptions. One thing I’m wary about are the quality of furniture/ Utilities but their bunk beds, chairs, kitchen equipment were all of good quality. Nothing fragile that may come up later. The house is very spacious and you get a lot of privacy from neighbours etc! Feels like your very own cabin. However, the only caution is that the drive way is very steep and not very suitable for long vans as they may scrape the concrete. Definitely would recommend :-) ##### Janine L. The views were spectacular! Close proximity to the beach was an added convenience. Property is very well maintained and excellent for big groups, a large family or more than one family! The host was flexible with our check out, which helped us have a more leisurely morning. Definitely look forward to going back over the summer months! Just one thing though! The drive way was a bit slippery due to the rain and needed cleaning. ##### Anu M. The house has the most amazing view and was set up with everything we needed for our stay. I couldn’t fault the owner’s communication and flexibility. Our original trip was booked for visitors from Wellington, Gisborne, Tauranga, UK and Bermuda, for Easter 2020, and had to be rescheduled twice. The owner was helpful and adaptable throughout the process, and, although we still didn’t make it happen as originally planned, we had a fantastic couple of days in Whitianga. The property was as described. Accommodation was excellent, particularly on the upper floor where the views across the bay and spaciousness were much appreciated. The native "forest" at the side and rear of the property added to the feeling of seclusion and excitement. There was ample parking for 4 + cars, although access to the steep drive might be limited for low clearance vehicles or those with a significant overhang, which may "bottom" at the the junction between drive and road. A Holden estate just cleared (by 2 inches) but the boat trailer was left on the road as was a medium sized camper van. This did not present any problems as there was space and the neighbours were agreeable. The latch on the child proof balcony gate needs attention but was functional. ##### Mike S. It is a very comfortable house, well equipped, with lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful view. Whitianga is a charming town with excellent restaurants and the Coromandel Peninsula has stunning scenery. Warren was 5 star with communication, thank you Warren! ##### Susan B.
