It was nice. The staffs are very kind and friendly. And Location is perfect. I went there by bus. The hostel is close to the bus stop and Giants Causeay entrance.
After being initially unimpressed, I have to say I left feeling really impressed and satisfied with my stay. I was initially in a room at the front of the house which i found noisy and had a slightly unpleasant smell. However I asked to move and the second room was perfect. Breakfast was excellent ...
The Apartment was very comfortable and in a great location.
Gail was a great hostess with lots of ideas on what to do and the best way to see things. Recommended some great restaurants. Her breakfast was amazing and so much on offer. Room and amenities were very good.
The property was very bright and clean and large. It was very comfortable. We walked to Giant’s Causeway - along the beach dune route recommended by Keith. Took longer than we expected - so he extended our check out time - which was greatly appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The old style was very nice and the hotel was kept in immaculate order
close to Bushmills and the Giants Causeway. Good scenic route along the coast
If you agree with George Bernard Shaw that whiskey is liquid sunshine, then the Old Bushmills Distillery is one of the sunniest places in all of Ireland.
Not only is this Ireland’s oldest working distillery, but it is widely agreed to be the oldest in the world. The Old Bushmills Distillery has been in continuous operation since its original grant to distil was signed by King James I in 1608.
This rich history leads to some seriously rich flavours, as you’ll find when you take the distillery tour. Knowledgeable guides will take you through the entire distilling process, explaining the special alchemy by which Bushmills manage to take water drawn from Saint Columb's Rill and transform it into one of the most delectable substances on earth: whiskey.
Bushmills is the only distillery in Ireland to make triple-distilled single malt: a complex, fruity whiskey that possesses a unique combination of smoothness and richness. During your tour you will see the copper potstills used to distil this special spirit and at the conclusion you’ll be offered your choice of tasters from the distillery’s delicious, award-winning selection.
If you like what you try you can pick up a bottle or three at the gift shop: the only place in the world that sells the exclusive Bushmills Distillery Reserve 12-year-old single malt.
So if you find yourself on the Causeway Coast and in want of a snifter, tot or dram, stop by the Old Bushmills Distillery and take a sip of history.
