Okuma Private Beach & Resort

"Great place to take a break, very beautiful retreat from all the action. We rented a grand cottage room on expedia when we were directed to the room at first it wasnt as shown on the website i went back the front desk and explained that i wasnt happy of the room and they changed it right away . So make sure if you select Grand Cottage that you get the renovated room. From then everything was perfect ,the room was beautiful and very spacious and the resort very nicely kept and flowered wow!!! Our little private resort can’t ask for more. Breakfast is the best you can find ! We loved Okuma private resort !!!"

"The resort was great. The only big negative was the resort wasn't exactly easy to get to unless you take a taxi or drive. Nearby there isn't really much food places available; especially ones that are open later. There is a shuttle service to some major shopping places in front of the hotel but the frequency is very low, around an hour apart."

"The pool needs redoing and area around the pool floor needed painting. The gym was too small and hot. The Executive lounge was amazing and staff was the best. Our suite view was spectacular and loved our room. Overall, enjoyed our stay. Just a bit far from everything tho. The restaurant food was too expensive. The valet girls were the best."

"Breakfast warning: you must order your scrambled eggs at the eggs station, where only one chef is responsible for the entire room. When you finally receive your eggs, the coffee you also need to request from a waiter will be cold. This minor oversight makes the experience rather disappointing, especially considering the variety and quality of the buffet."
