"Shower head was absolutely pointless and shower screen just let water run all over the floor. Carpet had cigarette burns in it and chair had ripped material on the seat. Not even close to being worth over £180 per night. Feel like we have been ripped off."

The room tv was so small it was almost impossible to see. No bar soap provided. Asked for a one hour late checkout and it was granted but almost begging. Good location. Dave in the restaurant was good as well as both doorman. Possible maybe second stay but only after renovation."

"Opposite the rail station, which was good for us as we were travelling by train. Clean and comfortable hotel which is on the Hop On Hop Off bus route for easy access to the city. Our room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower and nice toiletries. Staff were very accomodating and friendly. There was a bit of a faff as to whether we could eat off the bar menu in the restaurant in the evening and we were kept waiting for a while, but eventually we were told we could. All in all it was a good stay. The only downside for us is that we would have liked to sit in the lounge and read, but there is music playing everywhere and raher loud corporate people discussing their work, which we found bohersome. However, we are old and crotchety so maybe it was just us. We would stay here again though."
