"We had a lovely experience staying at The Yorkshire hotel, it is central for all the shops and cafes. Breakfast was excellent, good quality produce and fresh, staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again."

"A smart hotel which maintains the standards you would expect from a 4 Star establishment. There is a reputable restaurant onsite. Best to book it before your stay. We could not get a table after 6:30pm on the day of arrival. Breakfast was good but not outstanding. Would definitely recommend Cedar Court, which is a 10-minute or so walk from the centre of town."

"The Room (Double with River View) was a good size and had good Facilities including a mini fridge I wasn't expecting. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have both a soft and firmer pillow choice. The bedroom, shower room (and hotel) were very clean and in good order. Breakfast was lovely with a really good selection. The location was great, a short walk across the bridge to the city centre. The only small negative was being able to hear music at the Bars/Clubs the other side of the river after 11pm when we wanted to sleep."

Clayton Hotel Leeds

Clayton Hotel Leeds

8/10 Good
"We stayed last weekend for a last minute trip and got an absolute bargain. I wasn’t expecting much but the hotel was brilliant! The rooms were slightly dated but the bed was comfy and if all you need accommodation for a night it is amazing. They had everything in the room that we needed. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel and I’ve stayed in many more that are much more expensive (even had syrups for the latte which made my morning and saved me having to go into Leeds and spend £5+ on one!). The only issues I had were that there was no cot in the room when I’d requested this twice before hand but as soon as I asked at reception they brought one up (they also assisted with luggage which was really helpful). The cot was super uncomfortable and the mattress was like concrete so our baby just slept in our bed so it probably recommend investing in some better cots as I don’t think any baby would sleep in that. Would definitely be back though. Thank you"

The Queens Hotel

"As a disabled person the fact that a taxi can not pull up to the front door is very inconvenient ( but not a fault of the hotel but the Leeds council) so the car park is a walk away to be disabled or not with bags cases is a struggle on departure I ask on reception if there was a porter to help me with my bag to the car park as I am on crutches after suffering a broken neck and back could see I was clearly struggling But on my way out the disabled exit a very kind member of staff saw my struggle and offered to help me across to the car park With my bag which I am most grateful for As a business i think that Leeds council should alter the highways to allow taxi/uber to drop guests that are coming to Leeds to add to the Economy of the city at there front door"
