Character and atmosphere aplenty. A little tired in places but still grand by any standards. Staff are first class and know how to treat guests. The standard room was large, well laid out and well equipped. Breakfast was average so I'd eat out next time. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this ...
This was the second time that I had stayed at The Camberley. I was given the same room!! It was at the back of the building so quiet in the mornings. This hotel is well placed and within walking distance of all the sights worth seeing and shopping, plus easy walking to the bus and train station.
Really nice staff and experience at a location to die for. Gardens leading down to the racecourse are spectacular and an event in themselves. On top of which fantastic cooked breakfast buffet spread. Well worth the stay.
Very convenient location. Beautiful shared areas. Friendly and helpful staff. The only improvement required is the flush in the bedroom that took an extended time to refill and it was very noisy.
Found the building going on outside room #1 started at 08:00 with JCB and other plant going up and down the road outside with reversing alarms going. Late afternoon snooze.....similar.
We have just stayed 2nights and can not fault anything. The staff were all really nice and very helpful, breakfast was fabulous everything you could possibly want, a 2 minute walk to the centre, we will definitely return
