We booked through expedia who took debit card details in order that the room was secured but for us to pay in cash in full on arrival which we did. A week later the full amount was charged to our debit card although it had been paid for on the day. Very poor show for such a lovely hotel.

Foyer & restaurant were very stylish & comfortable. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was quite dated but very clean with lovely comfy beds. Bath towels were large & very soft. Hotel uses locally sourced H2K toiletries.

The county of North Yorkshire may be famous for its natural beauty, but it's also a thriving place for business. From the bustling centre of York to the industrial town of Middlesbrough, industry has plenty of nodes around this pretty county. Of course, not all visitors to North Yorkshire come for pleasure. The county sees its fair share of professional visitors, too. Fortunately, there are plenty of business hotels in North Yorkshire, packed with facilities to make working on the road that bit easier.
Efficiency is important in the world of business, and never more so than when you're on the road. That's why the majority of North Yorkshire's business hotels boast accessible locations. Those that aren't in the heart of towns and cities are located beside major roads and train stations.
The Hampton by Hilton Hotel is York is a fine example of a business hotel in a convenient spot. In the heart of the city, the hotel is easy to find for locals. Its also just metres away from the city's main train station, making it easy to find from outside North Yorkshire.
While some business guests are just dropping in overnight, others are setting up shop for a conference or industry event. Many of North Yorkshire's business hotels offer spaces dedicated to such events.
The Holiday Inn in Harrogate boasts some conference space, meeting rooms and even a range of leisure facilities, ideal for helping professionals relax at the end of a hard day's work.
The Mercure York Fairfield Manor also offers conference space. Other facilities at this modern hotel include tea and coffee in communal areas and an express check-out option, great for those just passing through.
In the modern world, a fast and secure internet connection is an absolute must for workers. That's why all of North Yorkshire's finest business hotels offer WiFi throughout their buildings free of charge. This allows professional guests to stay in touch with remote colleagues. It's also handy for conferences and corporate events, allowing delegates to access key information throughout the day.
