"Everything was great, the only issue I had was the car charge point did not work for me. I got my money back but it meant that I had to go out early before heading to work to charge my car."

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed for one night as a birthday treat, and we had a lovely stay! The staff were really helpful and always in hand, the food was lovely (great evening meal and breakfast). The spa was great too. There were a couple of niggles; paying for parking, the 6th floor signature lounge was disappointing and could be so much better with better access to the balcony, comfortable seating etc, the shower soaked the bathroom floor, but was easy to clean up with the towels, Rafters restaurant was hot and stuffy. Overall though, it was a relaxing break with everything you would need and so much more. Rooms large and comfortable. I would definitely go back."

"Great location right opposite the Hippodrome ideal for us as that’s where we were going.Bathroom looked newly decorated although shower worked well but could do with updating. The room itself was spotlessly clean but probably needs redecorating soon as it wasn’t to the same standard as the bathroom also little tip for anyone staying here make sure you have a plug in lead for charging your phone as there are no usb sockets which they could do with. One thing I found disappointing was although checkin isn’t until 3pm and we had arrived early we were told our room was ready which was great but they said it’s £10 per hour so from 1pm when we arrived until 3pm they wanted an extra £20 so we declined and said we will just park our car for now and come back at 3pm.So for this reason I have dropped one star. However I would use this hotel again if I needed to."

"Great stay at The Village. My boyfriend is a regular guest for business but we stayed for a weekend. Check in was simple, we opted for a club room which was compact but had everything you could need. Beds are super comfortable, coffee machine always a bonus. We used the pool twice throughout our stay which was easy to access. First mornings breakfast wasn’t as good as second but still good. Would stay again"

"Stayed in a basic room. Definitely not 4 star, both the room and bathroom had definitly seen better days and were very well used. However for a night's sleep to break a long journey was fine. Pool, sauna and steam room were very well received andcdon enjoyed the gym. Breakfast was also lovely though no fresh rolls."
