"Havre de paix dans un petit hameau niché sur une colline, très bien situé pour explorer l'ouest de la Crête. Demeure de charme où il fait bon vivre, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, dotée de plusieurs terrasses, une pour le matin, une pour le soir, une pour l'apéritif, une abritée en cas de pluie. Un vrai bonheur !
Eleni, notre hôtesse, a été très prévenante et attentive à notre bien-être, nous faisant partager tous ses délicieux produits locaux.

"Beautiful villa, owners were brilliant, a lovely welcome package which was extremely handy as our flight was delayed and didn't arrive at the villa until 1am. Full house clean and new sheets twice during our stay. We had a wonderful time. Car is recommended. "

"The photos do not do the villa justice as the views are amazing and is very private. We were two families with teenage children and it accommodated us all well. Lots of space and well equipt. Myron met us as we arrived and was on hand if needed when we messaged him. Would highly recommend the villa to anyone. Great taverna down the road who welcomed us like family and amazing food at very good prices. You do need a car as is remote but well located to visit the local towns. "

"We had the most wonderful two weeks staying at Villa Danna. The accommodation was perfect and immaculate. The family were all on hand to assist with anything we needed and insisted on re-cleaning the house and emptying and re-filling the pool after a freak Saharan dust storm. We had three animal loving kids with us, who were thrilled that the family dog was nearby (a short walk across through the olive trees) for strokes and cuddles, and Rosie the cat was often asleep in the shade somewhere. We loved the pool, the eating areas, the upstairs balcony with incredible views of the sunset and the table tennis table got plenty of use too. It was a good walk uphill to the nearest taverna or shop, which was fine for the younger members of the party but tricky for anyone with mobility issues. It was a short drive into Rethymno to lots of bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again, after a wonderful two weeks of relaxation and sunshine. "

"Comfortable, clean villa. Had a lovely week here in October 2024. Good location, 10 minutes to Rethymno and walkable to local tavernas. Centrally located for visiting different sites and beaches. Alexandra cooked lunch for arrival which was appreciated.
