"We had the most wonderful two weeks staying at Villa Danna. The accommodation was perfect and immaculate. The family were all on hand to assist with anything we needed and insisted on re-cleaning the house and emptying and re-filling the pool after a freak Saharan dust storm. We had three animal loving kids with us, who were thrilled that the family dog was nearby (a short walk across through the olive trees) for strokes and cuddles, and Rosie the cat was often asleep in the shade somewhere. We loved the pool, the eating areas, the upstairs balcony with incredible views of the sunset and the table tennis table got plenty of use too. It was a good walk uphill to the nearest taverna or shop, which was fine for the younger members of the party but tricky for anyone with mobility issues. It was a short drive into Rethymno to lots of bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again, after a wonderful two weeks of relaxation and sunshine. "

"Comfortable, clean villa. Had a lovely week here in October 2024. Good location, 10 minutes to Rethymno and walkable to local tavernas. Centrally located for visiting different sites and beaches. Alexandra cooked lunch for arrival which was appreciated. Recommend this place for dinner Giannakis traditional taverna in Prines"

"We just came back from our amazing stay at Villa Diana. We didn’t want to leave..everything about our vacation at the villa was top notch. Myron meant us at the Villa the night we got there and showed us around.( we appreciated that so much)..We knew when we got there that we picked the perfect place for our vacation. We just kept looking around in awe at how beautiful everything was. He also left us eggs, meat, cheese, bread, fruit, olive oil etc. That was such a nice surprise and very much appreciated. When we woke the next morning and the sun was out..we couldn’t believe the views ..full sea and Mountain views. Simply breathtaking 😍. We were a family of 5 and all had our own room and bathroom with another room and bathroom to spare. The elevator to our bedroom was so handy too. The outside area was like a resort.. Beautiful pool, hot tub, gym, ping pong table and an outdoor kitchen. The nights we were home we used the outdoor kitchen and ate outside surrounded by all the beauty. The location was perfect …so quiet and peaceful. Myron and his parents were amazing hosts and went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. Bringing us extra oil and always being available if we needed to know anything. We hope to return. Thanks again Myron to you and your family for everything… was the best vacation ever…from all of us. 🤗😎"

"We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! We definitely recommend this experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This is a great home for a family or group of friends. The view from the pool and terrace is exceptional and the local town has some really great restaurants. It is a beautiful home, well located to explore this great island!! I can't say enough about Joanna, her communication with us was exceptional. She gave us great recommendations and was kind enough to leave us supper for our late arrival. We were so lucky to have met her as well. I will be back :)"

"It was awesome to stay in a traditional home in a local village! We were met by our host Yanni who was very accommodating. The home was clean, updated and well appointed. Two of the 4 bedrooms are in separate buildings on the property and are en-suite with bath and are very private. Bedroom 3 and 4 are in main house with kitchen, dining and living area, and shared bath. The 4th bedroom lacks a bit of privacy as it is loft style with open walls, above bedroom 3. This was fine for us, but you must be cognizant that noises from kitchen/ dining area will be heard by anyone in loft bedroom. Also this a stone house, and while very quaint, some might be surprised by the lack of windows. We thought it was a really cool place. Pool and hot tub were nice for kicking back after daily adventures! You get all the local feel with neighbors tending to their gardens, dogs and cats making friends, and celebrations occurring at the church nearby. Local taverns were also great to explore, some within walking distance. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed with warm, Grecian hospitality! We did encounter a water issue due to a broken pipe in town, and as soon as we alerted our host, he called the municipality to see what was happening, kept us informed, and brought many bottles of water to get us over the hump. We could not ask for more and would recommend this home without hesitation and would absolutely stay here again!"
