"Lovely location but the decor is looking a little tired"

"Excellent and hotel and facilities. Luxury room is worth the extra. Very well maintained and clean. Lots of little added extras added. Staff were very friendly, food (dinner and breakfast) both excellent. A very wide ranging wine selection. Lovely little outdoor area to enjoy a drink in the sun. "

"It was a really cute stay for my birthday weekend The little touches from the pantry to the check in wine offered and the Madeline cakes hanging on the doors- and the room was so cute too. Little spa to use with an outdoor pool. Outdoor seating for a drink/ lunch at the brasserie. We had a pianist during dinner. Was a lovely stay"

"I was very impressed with The Lodge. It was easy to find, plenty of parking, reception staff were friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms, unfortunately one room had a smell to it, I think from a drain, hence 4 stars. Other than that the beds was massive, the rooms were clean and I would happily stay there again."

"Very busy, definitely worth booking for your meal, the food was more Gastro Pub than normal but lovely none the less. Great staff. Quirky and old building with sloping floors. Very nice bed in the bedroom. Only slight downside is you can hear the bar etc downstairs until they close but if you are not an early to bed type of person its fine. VERY little parking onsite but there is other parking in the village."
