Adina Citylife Auckland
10/10 Excellent
"The property was amazing. The hotel staff was continually servicing all areas. Beautiful lobby and easy access to the hotel and the bustling and thoroughly enjoyable Queen Street. "
"Check in was quick and easy. The room is a great size, with lots of things literally at your door step. There’s a heated pool, spa, sauna and gym. There’s lots of cafe/restaurants near the precinct that you can charge to your room. Would definitely stay again."
"Great location, easy transportation from the airport. Easy walk to the port and downtown sights. The biggest problem was they had an elevator out of order for our whole stay. Really caused a problem. And you recieved no discount for the sky tower for staying in the sky tower hotel. "
"Staff at reception and valet were particularly helpful and professional. We were upgraded and provided a mini bar credit which was a really nice touch. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was a little noisy but other than that the place was great and would definitely stay again. "
"This property is very convenient to downtown Auckland and the waterfront. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were kind and friendly and all facilities inc the gym, pool, spa and sauna were excellently maintained.
My only suggestion would be is that the hotel needs to streamline their checkout processes. It took 25 minutes to check out, the staff were lovely but understaffed and the process of checking one room at a time then reporting back to reception was incredibly inefficient, especially with everyone checking out at 10am on a Sunday! Maybe invest in some walkie talkies. It seemed outdated too to charge a large bond per room on check in (we've stayed in many hotels and havent had to do this for years). It is the sole hold up on check out. "
Combining historic architecture with modern facilities, Auckland’s harbourside transport terminal is the place to embark on an adventure or simply sit with a coffee and watch the world go by.
During your trip to Auckland, you can find the perfect gifts to bring home at Princes Wharf. Stroll along the area's waterfront or experience its fascinating museums.
