Booked this for a one night stay to attend Tom Jones concert.
Found room to be spotless. Very comfortable with a lovely view towards the sea.
Room a little small if you were staying for a week or more.
However, for a short stay it was perfect. I would stay again and recommend to others.
Breakfast was good and a very pleasant young lady in the restaurant to serve you.

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay here. The location is tucked away & very serene, our room (The Nab) was large & airy with a good view out to sea with a king size bed & wonderful power shower. Ate in 2 of the 3 nights & the food & service could not be faulted. Very friendly & helpful staff throughout (Manager, bar/waiting staff, cleaners) who are prepared to go out of their way to help.

We stayed 4 nights and everything was spot on. The location was perfect being just round the corner from the ferry, but quiet ( no driving around at the end of a long journey). The pub was very well laid out with plenty of room in the bar, lounge and dining areas. Beautifully presented inside, warm and cosy, with a very friendly relaxed welcome. Breakfast very good, and the evening meals were also good, we ate in every night. The staff seemed very happy and this must be credit to the owner and...

Great experience from the moment we arrived. Staff were welcoming and helpful with just the right amount of attention.
Location in Southsea is perfect for a night out in Portsmouth or a day on the beach.
The breakfast was delicious!

A little gem, beautifully appointed throughout.
Room 10 comes with a large pink bathroom which includes a bath the length of which I had not yet encountered, a toilet built like a tank (double hinged toilet seat and cover) and a mahusive walk-in shower large enough to fit big foot.
At breakfast (included) we opted for fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, a croissant (still warm and crispy) and well cooked full English with more options available.
And yes, the beds are comfortable, I managed to clock...
