Starry Nights Escape: Hot Tub & Sauna

Starry Nights Escape: Hot Tub & Sauna

8/10 Good
"We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work and there are also no jets so it doesn't bubble, we didnt use the sauna as it was too hot. As the location is very rural you also get the smell of manure from the local farms which isnt the most pleasant. Over all we had a great time and could live with the above."

Manor house set in five acres of gardens with private golf course, near Ludlow.

10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful house, very lovingly cared for. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by the managing team and should there have been an issue I have no doubt at all that it would have been sorted immediately. The house had everything you could have asked for and was fabulously presented. The vast garden wonderfully cared for, allowing plenty of space for adults to relax and children to play. In fact you could happily disappear there! We would so recommend anyone."

The Cider Mill Cottage

The Cider Mill Cottage

10/10 Excellent
"This is our 14th stay at the lovely Cider Mill Cottage and our 15th is booked for August. We love the seclusion and the dark skies are amazing especially since we coincided with the rare alignnent of all the planets. We love the log burner in the upper lounge which gets a lot of use during our winter visits. Ludlow, Leominster and Hereford are all worth visiting and are in easy distance. Also recommended is a visit to Monkland Cheese Dairy just outside Leominster. The very large secure garden is ideal for dogs and Mortimer Forest just down the road is great for those longer walks."
