The Loin was perfect. Lovely old beams, comfortable room with super bathroom, good food and pleasant staff. Delicious breakfast included . Good restaurant on site . Lovely garden to sit and have a drink with views. Very helpful staff . Could park across the toad when hotel car park full. Old building set on a fairly busy road , so our room had traffic noise , as windows not double glazed . The room is tastefully decorated with a large bathroom with a shower over the bath. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The evening meal was excellent which we took out on the terrace overlooking the river and meadows. The breakfast was very good too although the smoked haddock was not available. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with good food and great service in an idyllic part of the world.
