The room given to us didn’t match with what we saw when booking through Expedia. In Expedia the Superior Rooms has full height glass door that has views of the outside. However. our room has window that faces a dark alleyway.

We stayed here part of a night for a layover before a very early flight. Front staff was friendly. Hotel was lovely and located within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and sites.

This Mercure is very well located indeed for the heart of Naples, including the port, Opera house, Piazza Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale etc. It is well connected to the railway station at Municipio metro station. The hotel is unassuming, but clean and efficient. Staff helpful. I shall certainly use again

With outside temp 72F hotel shutdown HOTEL CENTRAL AC unit and inside room is hot and UNBEARABLE and MISERABLE. They want windows open but problems with MOSQUITOS. 3 Nites of nightmare. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! BAD PLACE OR STAY. NOT RECOMMENDED

This property is very close to the port which is convenient if you plan on ferrying to Capri and Amalfi like we did. Much more enjoyable than flying!

Well positioned hotel
Clean functional hotel well situated in the port area. Room I had very hot, air con not turned to cooling in March. Room was 324 above an alley and next to breakfast room so quite noisy. Good breakfast selection and friendly staff.

Can’t believe it’s 4 stars
The standard double room was tiny, the overall experience was bad and simply didn’t justify 4 stars at all. No basic amenities : there is a water heater but no cups or tea/coffe. No warm Blankets (though when asked, we went to get them from the reception), Not even a “do not disturb” sign. Felt like the room was not prepared enough and lacked very basic things. Shower has dampness stains. Room number 602. Hard to believe it was the size the website says it was. Wifi not reliable enough. Disappointing, not justifying the price nor the brand.

Whoever is the marketing person for this hotel is a very good one. This hotel is a 3-star hotel at best. It is not a 4-star hotel. Although conveniently located in the city center there are far nicer hotels at better prices than this hotel. I stayed here for 3-nights in a “twin-room” where two single beds were pushed together, the room itself was small and outdated with very odd decoration/colour. Don’t expect anything above basic in regards to your tv and mini bar expectations, unless you want warm beverages and it’s not stocked. The air conditioning was very loud and had a bad smell. If you plan on using the bathroom in the night be sure to be alone because there is no door handle that push-down and pull, it’s a pull and slam/bang which results in waking up whoever is around you with a loud bang in the middle of the night and this can be heard in the next room, despite the rooms being “sound proof”. The bathroom itself isn’t clean, there is dirt stuck in places such as the shower and dust under the sink and behind the toilet. The breakfast is okay, it’s continental and due to Covid-19 it’s not self-service but two ladies are available to give you what you want from behind the breakfast bar. Can’t fault these ladies, they give you want you want and are friendly. The staff are friendly and check-in was easy as well as check-out. Room service was every morning but didn’t do the best of jobs just dressed beds, emptied bins and changed a few towels. Pictures aren’t accurate.

Central location in this historic area. Gorgeous view of the castle. 2 min walk from the metro. Rooms were clean, and beds are super soft. Only negative, bathrooms could use a deep clean. Some black mold could be seen forming in the shower corners.

Nice staff but the room was aging and bathroom was old and dusty. It’s also a very noisy area For that same price range, there are much better hotels in Naples.

Excellent Service
Given an early checkin and a late checkout because we were leaving for a late flight. The checkin was very smooth and gave helpful information about getting to the airport. The room was modern and comfy. The bed was just the right softness for a good nights sleep. Negatives were the room was not in the best location and we could hear all the waterworks from nearby rooms including flushing toilets. The breakfast on the balcony overlooking the castle and port was excellent.

Excellent location for port, buses, taxis and Metro. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants close to hotel. Breakfast too was good value. All three rooms were very spacious. Plenty of toiletries. Staff were helpful and friendly. The foyer area was useful for waiting in. Vending machine fur snacks anc drinks handy too. Large supermarket nearby as well as some great shops to suit all. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Only thing missing is a bar! But plenty nearby- just across road in fact. It’s on a busy street but traffic noise is minimum if you keep windows closed. Good air con in rooms.

As we arrived late in the evening & needed to leave after breakfast, we had little time to advise on this hotel. However- Positives: Greeting by staff friendly & helpful. Location excellent if you are ferrying to Sorrento area. Breakfast on rooftop terrace enjoyable, with ample choices. Negatives: Noisy - our room near a restaurant & rubbish collection Bedding had a huge tear in the quilt cover Floor was dirty- walked around barefoot & could feel & see grime. Bathroom very small, but shower ok. Wifi good.

Location excellent. Hotel amenities average. You can't even get ice in the hotel. Mattress needed replacing. Our room faced directly onto the street and had a western aspect. Without a/c you would cook. Staff were friendly, breakfast ok. I would have expected better from an Accor hotel

The hotel was very well situated for our needs. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We were a group of 9 women, and we would have appreciated somewhere eg a bar to meet in and have a drink or coffee in the evening. The staff at reception were extremely pleasant and helpful - a special mention would go to Bianca and Joshua .

Did not expect hotel to be this small for Mercure range of hotels in term of room size and lobby. Hotel does not provide parking but there is a pay parking in the adjacent building which is convenient. There are many restaurants around the hotel. The front desk staff were helpful giving information when asked.

Convenient place to stay
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the main attractions, metro station and ferry terminal. There are several good restaurants within very easy walking distance. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Our room at the back of the hotel was clean and the bathroom had all the basics and plenty of hot water. I found the mattress uncomfortable because it needed turning. We didn’t eat in the restaurant because the breakfast sounded expensive compared to the local cafe but of course it might be amazing! Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this hotel.
