A fantastic location. We could see the full moon perched over the Castello Aragonese d'Ischia from our window. So beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. The pools delightful. Easy walk to Castello Aragonese. Good breakfast. Some shared facilities with sister hotel. Beach not the best as in shadow in the afternoon, but big pool was great. The reviews are 9 out of 10 but I don't understand it at all. I just got done with a 2 week vacation in Italy and stayed in 12 hotels. This was the highest rated and most expensive (454/n) but was the least favorite of the bunch. The rooms were large and having a balcony for our two shared rooms was nice to relax on in the evening as we didn't have a water view. The breakfast was nice and my children enjoyed the spa services. We mostly had the pool to ourselves and there was plenty of area to spread out and enjoy. We didn't use the thermal pool, but was mostly used by older guests. There is a wonderful restaurant across the street, but disregard judging the book by its cover. The water view is excellent. It's a long walk to the port, but only 15 euros by taxi when we used it. The walk through town is full of restaurants and shops, so it's worth it. Another 15 minute walk to the castle.
