"Rooms seem to vary between spacious and elegant and very functional and ‘compact’. No room for chair in my room. Bed was only option. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Meals excellent but not cheapest. Dining areas more basic than other areas. Parking excellent."

"We had an amazing 2 weeks at Hen Stable! We loved the beautiful garden and cozy living area! You definitely need a car, but we did go on nice walks from the cottage. Gary was so kind and helpful! …always available for questions. We had dinner at the Victoria Inn in Harlech…delicious! We hope to visit again!"
Moelfre - a self catering cottage that sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
10/10 Excellent
"Outstandingly beautiful place to stay, high in the hills, with just the sound of sheep bleating. The accommodation was exactly as listed and was finished to the highest standard, with everything you could possibly need. The host was lovely and very knowledgeable. I felt very safe as a lone traveller. "
2 bedroom accommodation in Dyffryn Ardudwy Near Barmouth
8/10 Good
"Lovely cottage, very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped- a milk jug would have been useful A welcome guide would be useful too - places to visit locally, recommendations for places to eat and instructions on how things work. I was sorry to bother the host for the wi-if details. All in all it was lovely "
"Wow, this was so quiet, it was amazing. Literally silence. It was a really great to just stop. There was no TV, no radio, nothing. Literally forced to unwind. It is really well placed for Harlech and even down to Barmouth. But sitting outside in the morning having breakfast was just spectacular. The only noise I heard was someone in the flat upstairs, but apart from that, didn't hear any noise. I parked opposite the property, but I'd recommend parking I the village and walking up and down.
Note: it is just a bath and not a shower."
"Nice, quiet location, comfortable and clean caravan. There was also a swimming pool and arcades too. We stayed in Barmouth Bay during our trip to Snowdonia and it was the great choice as it only takes an hour to drive from there to Llanberis and 20 minutes away from Harlech."
"We visited for a week with a family of 5 adults and 3 children. The house was spacious, all bedrooms en-suite and the kitchen modern and well equipped. Great area for local attractions such as slate mines and Harlech castle, and amazing beaches on the doorstep (Llandanwg was lovely).
Any questions were quickly answered by the host and the house suited our needs. It was very cold and would be great if all fires could be lit / central heating was on low. Also, there was no TV but the kids didn’t mind too much.
Thank you. "
