Worth every peso
Hotel Klee is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It does not have modern chrome and steel, but it is comfy and cozy. There is room in the rooms to move around. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, and the price is fair. Some may want to pay twice as much for a more modern hotel where you are treated like a stranger. That is their choice.

A gem of a botalón central Montevideo
Such a comfortable and friendly hotel. The fact that the furnishings are a little dated is no bother in the least; nothing is threadbare. The WiFi works perfectly. The breakfast, with home baked pastries and anything else you want is delicious.

Hotel Klee in el centro
The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nice, the WiFi always works, and it is in a nice area of downtown Montevideo, one block from Town Hall. The price is fair. You can pay twice as much and get more modern rooms, if that is what you want. But if you are looking for clean and comfortable rooms, Hotel Klee has them.

Good value for what we paid so no complaints.
Hotel well placed for getting around Montevideo, easy walking to downtown, great restaurants and markets. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to organise very early taxi to the airport. While decor is a little jaded the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Free breakfast was adequate.

My experience.
Pros. The location of the hotel is excellent. Their reception and staff are so pleasant and helpful beyond description. I've traveled the world and very few places if any have been so incredibly nice. Breakfast Buffet has everything except eggs. The food is fantastic and fresh. As well as the variety. They will do everything they can to please you. Cons. The hotel is in a corner and both streets are very loud. There is a lot of traffic specially local busses day and night. Windows are not.well sealed. If you are a light sleeper bring your earplugs .

Firendly and clean hotel
Always greeted with a smile, staff would jump to solve any inconvenience or trouble. Beds are comfortable and clean, nice tiling in the bathroom and immediate hot water in the shower. Convenient location in the center of town.

nice hotel for the price average breakfast not much variaty the room is ok but very old carpet all worn down it was probably there when the revolution started but the hotel is walking distance of the liberation plaza and the old part

The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice, comfortable hotel.
Nice, comfortable hotel, it's within walking distance to everything (we only caught one bus whilst there and that was to Punta del Este) and the staff were all helpful and lovely. Breakfast was simple but there was a large spread.

Nos fue muy bien, habitacion comoda, bien ubicado, el desayuno basico pero bien, deberian revisar el aislamiento del ruido del exterior hay un bodegón donde hacen eventos y a veces se escucha ruido. En general me fue muy bien muy contento. Solo puedo decir muchas gracias.

Tão bom quanto a minha casa
Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestativos. O quarto triplo era espaçoso, muito limpo e organizado. O banheiro era grande e tínhamos no quarto frigobar, ar, tv e cofre. Nos sentimos muito bem acolhidos. O hotel também conta com um ótimo café da manhã. A localização excelente junto ao comércio local. Está aprovado o Hotel Klee.

Pontos positivos: O hotel fica bem localizado, muito próximo à rua 18 de Julho que dá acesso até a cidade velha; dá para fazer muitas coisas à pé; quarto espaçoso, colchão e travesseiros bons; chuveiro excelente; limpeza satisfatória; café da manhã com pouca variedades, mas farto e com deliciosos croissants. Pontos negativos: elevador muito pequeno; espaço do café da manhã pequeno; o banheiro tem um odor horrível (retorno do ralo); toalhas de banho encardidas.
