Beautiful setting, very helpful staff, lovely hotel excellent restaurant.

I think it was very good value for the price would recommend it to other people

Beautiful setting, excellent facilities and attentive and friends staff. Couldn't ask for more!

Great place. Lovely rooms. Very clean. Great breakfast!

Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent too. Will definitely return, thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Secure parking, less than 5 minutes from the ferry terminal, friendly helpful staff, room was nice and clean

Excellent rooms with plenty of space and very comfortable. All the staff were very helpful

Staff very helpful and polite from the house keeping staff to the reception. Room was a good size, clean beds for us were too soft but once found a reasonable comfortable position had a reasonable sleep. Can I just say that when customers are asking for an early booking in time and booking breakfast before arriving, it would be helpful if you could inform the customers that they needed to pay for the extras on arrival or as soon as the reception opens at 1330hrs. As there was a bit of a mix up...

Pristine

This hotel is for chillers only. Just relax and forget all your worries. Fantastic food, great staff, top class facility. BUT; dont have a 2nd floor room when it's the hottest weekend of the year. Not that you'll know when you book but it was just too hot. No air conditioning just a small noisy fan so took the edge off the chill factor! However, its was a fantastic base to explore west Suffolk. Do try it.......

I’ve just returned from this lovely place . Lovely staff and so friendly. Thanks Debbie Room was clean and spotless me and my nephew ate at the restaurant and must say what lovely food Plenty to choose from Danielle was serving and what a lovely person she is to. Also, there’s a beer garden which had the lovely weather for it to sit in. Definitely recommend this place if your local to Thorpe le soken And definitely would return if need be. Thankyou Malcolm b

Great hotel and restaurant

Parking good , lots of shopping and food close Garden and kitchen are great

One of the most stunning hotels in the UK that I have ever stayed in. Impeccable service.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful country location. Restaurant and spa are excellent

Considering the age of the property, dating from 1456, the rooms were beautifully modernised whilst keeping the original features. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and I honestly can’t fault anything. The only negative was the heat but nothing anyone could do about that!!!

Great place, nice location, lots of parking, helpful and efficient staff, strong wifi, good facilities.

The hotel & grounds were amazing, it felt restful & relaxing the minute you arrived. Everywhere was fresh & clean, all the staff were nice, polite & helpful, from the reception upon arrival to the services & cleaning, saying hello as they pass you or offering help if you looked lost. The restaurants dinner menu was limited for me as I don't eat fish or spicy food, the sirloin steak was my only option which was pricy, I requested it medium to well done, it was cooked perfectly & the portions were...

Can’t fault anything would definitely stay there again so thoughtful everything catered for excellent and very friendly
